About Ms. Dowdy

Ms. Dowdy graduated from Plano West Senior High School in Plano, TX where she was a member of her school's FFA Chapter and competed in Creed Speaking, Radio, and Ag Issues. She attended Texas A&M University and received a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science. While at Texas A&M, Ms. Dowdy was a campus tour guide, a member of the Pre-Vet Society, and on the Target Archery Team. After graduating, she worked in the veterinary industry for multiple years before going back to school for education. Ms. Dowdy is certified in Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources 6-12. In her free time, she enjoys gardening in her backyard, reading, and archery.
